Turtle Bags eDesign Gang Network have successfully passed the final assessments of theWORTH Partnership Project.. Our innovative shopping trolley was ranked in the list of 65 successful projects.

WORTH PROJECT has initiated collaborations between designers and companies in the fashion, textile, jewelry, footwear, eyewear, furniture, and leather goods sectors from different EU member states to create innovative new products.

WORTH creates and supportsinternational collaborations among designers, creative professionals, manufacturing enterprises (SMEs), artisans/makers, and technology providers seeking to develop design-oriented and innovative products, solutions, or business ideas in lifestyle sectors.

The jury had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the quality of the project proposals and the operational capabilities of our partnership to arrive at the final verdict.

Abstract

Shopping trolleys have received little attention in terms of design, sustainability and ethics in recent generations and as a result are seen as an aesthetically ugly tool.

The local shopping trend that emerged due to Covid restrictions is likely to benefit from permanent changes within our communities. "More than nine out of 10 people who have shopped locally say they will continue to do so."

BEAUTY: It is time torethink to the shopping trolley and to present a beautiful object designed for conscious living for all. In bringing beauty, we seek to promote an inclusive and sustainable lifestyle: encouraging people to take action slow And make local purchases.

INCLUSIVITY: The shopping trolley is designed to be fully integrated for thetransportation on foot, by public transportation, and by bicycle, thus offering accessibility to all users of all ages.

SUSTAINABILITY: Thelifecycle will be carefully designed for circularity of use with replaceable components and the use of renewable resources. By reflecting the values of the trolley, users will be proud of the product and spread the philosophy.
