Milan, Oct. 9, 2017 - TECHLA, the new instant engraving system for My Family products, has been selected by theADI Design Index 2017, the coveted award that brings together the products nominated for the 2018 ADI Compasso d'Oro Award and the National Award for Innovation, sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic.

Designed and developed by Design Gang Network, TECHLA was unveiled at the opening on Oct. 9 and will remain on display at the Selected Products Exhibition in Milan at the Museum of Science and Technology, until Oct. 17, 2017. The exhibition will then move to Rome at the House of Architecture, Roman Aquarium, from Oct. 26 to Nov. 8, 2017.

The Compasso d'oro Award, conceived in 1954 by La Rinascente and then donated to ADI (Association for Industrial Design), which has managed it since 1956, is the most prestigious recognition of the production and design quality of Italian design goods, services, processes and systems. The award, which brings together the award-winning products, generated the largest Historical Design Collection, which was declared a "good of national interest" in 2004.
The ADI Design Index has also, since 2009, become an annual selection for the National Innovation Award, sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic. This important Award sees ADI's recommendation of three products each year that are significant from the perspective of the specific theme of innovation, identified from those published in ADI Design Index .
